The Tally Reports task provides counts of data occurrences in fields that you select to report on. Some people call these type of reports distributions, frequencies or summary reports.

Just like the Records Dump task the motivation behind creating such as task was to reduce the amount of paper printed and to produce a compact report. See the samples below.

You can define any number of hierarchal level to report on, such as Gender within City within Province/State.
